My Story, Raw
Why I started AXE
I’ve been wired into music since I was a kid. First it was thrash and punk, then grunge, and later the weirder edges of rock, jazz, and classical. I followed whatever felt honest—whatever hit hard enough to raise goosebumps. Finding the records I wanted back then wasn’t easy, but the hunt became its own ritual. That pull never left me. Then came the “serious” years—specialist jobs, corporate logic, watching the machine from the inside. Everything kept tightening until the day it broke. I collapsed and spent a long time clawing my way back. When I finally stood up again, I walked away from that world for good. What stayed was music. Nothing else. I went back to the teenage dream: learn to play and finally speak in my own sound. Picked up a guitar from zero. Learned it all DIY. And eventually I found the texture that is me: tension, shadow, rough edges. A voice carved from guitar, amp, overdrive, distortion, fuzz—simple tools, nothing fake, just my raw truth. The result? That’s on you.
What I Want to Say
Myself — my thoughts, feelings, and the stories I’ve lived through. I believe sound is the most appropriate way to paint these images.
Why I Want to Say It
Out of inner need. I’m not a kid anymore, so I try to avoid all pretentiousness and just say things as they are, without blaming anyone.
If there’s even one person in the world who feels the same, I’ll count that as a personal victory and the highest kind of satisfaction — and I’ll play there, if possible.
In What Form
I like the saying: keep things as simple as possible, but not simpler.
I try to express emotion with the least necessary means, without losing the point. So you won’t find technical virtuosity in my tracks — I don’t need it. I prefer roughness with small, deliberate details. A mix of forms: guitar, film, acting. Whatever carries the feeling clean and true.
